We at the J. Pinnelli Co. have made a strong commitment to educating ourselves and others in the science of building structures that are both beautiful and intelligently implemented. In an age when automakers design cars that operate for years, in all environments with minimal maintenance, while delivering extraordinary levels of performance and convenience, the building industry is by and large operating with low expectations and little training. Most knowledge is learned on the job and is delivered by manufacturers and marketing teams.

For ten years, we have made an ongoing and extensive search for knowledge, based in physics and the physical laws that govern the forces that act on our buildings. Our goal in this effort is to build durability into everything we do while delivering superior indoor air quality and cutting edge energy efficiency. This is what green building means at the J. Pinnelli Co. and we are passionate in its pursuit.

We have implemented and developed building systems that are unsurpassed by anything else being done. That is a bold claim but it is backed by the building science community. Joe Lstiburek of Building Science Corporation has labeled the exterior wall system we use as “The Perfect Wall”.

For the past decade, we have spent countless hours of our weekends, evenings and vacations continuing the passionate pursuit of knowledge and excellence. We make this personal commitment, because it is our belief that building science must underlie every aspect of a quality built project. Our future depends on it and our conscience demands it. The experience of our clients has shown that our efforts have paid off and we proudly face the future in this ongoing effort.
